Uncertainty in Mexico’s upstream oil and gas sector has resurfaced after the country’s national hydrocarbons commission CNH announced the postponement of two oil and gas auctions and a farm-out until February 12 next year.
Juan Carlos Zepeda, the head of the national hydrocarbons commission, said the postponement was "positive" and would give time to the team of President-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador to study future tenders.
