Even as COVID-19 turned the world upside down, in our little corner, normal things did occur. Banking and dealmaking happened. Innovation and development did not shut down. Banking is experiencing a digital shakeup. M&A is marching on while the mining industry is experiencing a resurrection. Chile is seeking riches out of thin air, or hydrogen to be more exact. We spoke with some of the region’s most important leaders from the new president of the IADB to the president of Brazil’s BNDES.
