Manuel Grullon and Maria Laura Cuya have launched successful financial technology startups that are changing lives. Inspired by his observation as a student in the United States that his less privileged countrymen were paying the equivalent of several days’ worth of meals just to send money back home to the Dominican Republic, Grullon founded GCS Systems, operator of tPago.
