SANTANDER MÉXICO Santander México has long stood out for its ability to structure and execute some of Mexico’s biggest oil and gas infrastructure projects. But over the last year, the bank showed its versatility with a $2.33-billion financing package for Red Compartida, an ambitious telecommunications project that aims to extend wireless coverage to 92% of the population. Santander México worked to broaden the investor base for Red Compartida, which was awarded to the consortium Altán Redes in November last year.
