SANTANDER BRASIL In a lackluster climate, strained by bribery scandals and investor apathy, Santander Brasil stands out as the best bank for Brazilian infrastructure. The bank was the financial adviser and lead onlender for Ventos do Araripe III, the country’s largest deal of the year and the largest wind farm ever built as a single project in Brazil. The 1.04 billion real ($329 million) financing package included a direct loan from the national development bank BNDES and onlending agreements with Santander and Bradesco.
