Fibras have become popular vehicles in Mexico to channel capital into real estate. Now, they are set to be used for a broader array of investments.  In particular, a framework for a new type of Fibra, known as energy and infrastructure investment trusts, has been designed to attract investors to Mexico’s oil and gas industry.  Pemex sees the new structure, dubbed Fibra E for short, as a central pillar in its strategy to attract private partners.
