As a young woman in Ecuador, Dayanara Pazos looked for ways to combine her two passions, television production and cooking. Options at home were limited, so she headed to Argentina, where she studied radio and TV production, while training to be a chef. She later went to Italy, where she received a scholarship to continue her culinary studies, and onto Australia, where she landed a job in a five-star hotel restaurant.Her 12-year journey eventually brought her back to Quito and she opened L’Arcadia Pasta Gourmet to sell high-quality Italian foods.
