TV Azteca has a new chief executive. Pedro Padilla has been chosen to run the Mexican broadcaster. Padilla could have a rugged road ahead of him. As advertisers continued to pare spending this year, TV Azteca's revenue in the second quarter fell 6% from a year ago to $152 million. The broadcaster's viewership is about a quarter of the national audience watching television. Its only competitor is Grupo Televisa .
