Banco Promerica seeks IFC funding

The Guatemalan subsidiary of Panamanian lender Banco Promerica has requested a $50 million loan from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to fund loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and green projects. IFC could provide a seven-year, $25 million loan and a 10-year, $25 million with a five-year grace period, according to information on its website.
