Luz del Sur, Banco Ripley to tap Peruvian bond market

Peruvian power company Luz del Sur and consumer lender Banco Ripley are set to become the latest companies to tap the local bond market this week, looking to raise PEN150 million ($40.7 million) combined. Luz del Sur plans to issue up to PEN100 million in one-year notes on Thursday as part of a PEN400 million program, the company said in a prospectus on Monday. The company, a unit of China Three Georges, sold PEN120 million worth of 8.21875% 2024 notes in March in the first issue in the program
