Caja Los Andes taps local bond market

Caja Los Andes, a payroll lender in Chile, sold UF2.5 million ($112 million) worth of bonds in three placements, ending a five-month absence from the local market. The fund made its initial return to the bond market on May 4 with the issue of UF1.5 million in inflation-linked bonds due 2026 at a rate of 6%.  Caja Los Andes followed up the sale last week with placements of UF500,000 on May 15 and the same amount on May 18, according to securities filings. It said it priced the notes at 6%.
