Fitch Ratings downgraded mobile phone company Digicel for the second time in two weeks, dropping the Jamaica-based carrier to C after creditors granted a grace period on a bond payment. Digicel received last week a 30-day extension on a $925 million payment for its 2023 bonds. It can extend the grace period to 90 days if it reaches a restructuring agreement with more than 50% of bondholders, Fitch said in a report on Friday.
