Costa Rica issued bonds in international market for the first time in three years on Monday, raising $1.5 billion in a deal that was roughly 4.5 times oversubscribed, sources told LatinFinance. "This issuance by Costa Rica was highly anticipated by the market," said Zulfi Ali, a fixed income portfolio manager at PGIM, the investment management division of Prudential.
