Compañía General de Combustibles (CGC), a leading oil and natural gas producer in Argentina, said late Tuesday that its board of directors has called a shareholder meeting to consider a proposal to increase its local bond program to $1.5 billion. The meeting will be held March 27, it said in a securities filing. The increase, if approved, would be from $1 billion, which has been nearly maxed out. CGC, one of the most frequent bond sellers in Argentina, has raised $926 million in the local market
