Argentina bolsters reserves with loans

Argentina's central bank said late Monday it received $680 million from two international development banks for bolstering its foreign currency reserves, while the local media reported that $1 billion has been made available from China's central bank through a currency swap. The local central bank said the Latin American development bank CAF provided $285.4 million, while the other $395 million came from the Central American Bank for Economic Integration, according to two brief press releases.
