Central Puerto, the second-largest power generation company in Argentina, said Friday that it will launch an offer to buy out the minority shareholders in Central Costanera, taking its control to 100% after acquiring a 75.7% stake last month. Through a wholly owned unit called Proener, Central Puerto will offer to pay ARS83.46 ($0.41) per share to purchase the 24.3% of the shares listed on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange, according to a securities filing.
