China Southern Power Grid could make a binding offer to buy the Peruvian electricity distribution operations of Italian utility company Enel, Bloomberg reported. The Chinese government-owned power company has entered a second round of bidding for the assets, which could be valued at about $3 billion, the news agency said.Other energy firms as well as infrastructure funds have also expressed an interest in the business, Bloomberg said.
