Mexico's DILA Capital plans to deploy up to $115 million to provide funding for start-ups in Latin America as well as for US and Spanish companies that want to do business in Mexico, said Alejandro Diez, a managing partner at the venture capital firm. "We always co-invest. We always buy minority equity stakes in the businesses and contribute more capital as the companies grow. A very important part of our investment thesis is the follow-on," Diez told LatinFinance on Monday. DILA Capital closed
