Grupo Luksic looks to end tie-ups with Paraguay firms

Chilean conglomerate Grupo Luksic plans to sever its business ties with former Paraguayan President Horacio Cartes after he was sanctioned by the US government, according to press reports.  Luksic-owned companies Compañía de Cervecerías Unidas (CCU) and Enex will sell their stakes in two of Cartes' firms, Bebidas del Paraguay and Gasur, DFSud reported on its website.
