Mexican cement producer Cemex said its US subsidiary signed a deal to buy a quarry and port operations in Newfoundland, Canada, to expand its aggregates business.  Cemex USA agreed to buy the assets from Atlantic Minerals for an undisclosed sum, according to a press release.
