Tecpetrol lines up local bonds

Tecpetrol, the third largest natural gas producer in Argentina, said Tuesday that it will seek to raise up to $200 million in the sale of 18-month, peso-denominated notes in the local market, as more energy companies do the same. The company will offer the bonds at auction on Thursday, beginning at $100 million and increasing the amount based on demand, according to a securities filing. The note will pay a to-be-determined margin over Badlar, a local reference rate now at 69%, the company said.
