Cemex, Cydsa exceed caps in bond buybacks

Mexican cement maker Cemex and chemical company Cydsa both exceeded the caps in bond buybacks, although it offered to repurchase outstanding notes for less than face value, they said in separate press releases. Cemex said it would pay $405 million to buy $468 million worth of bonds that mature in 2029, 2030 and 2031.
