Brazilian state-run oil company Petrobras has postponed one natural gas pipeline but announced the start of another, executives said at an oil and gas conference in Rio de Janeiro.
Fernando Borges, head of exploration and production at Petrobras, said a pipeline between the Santos basin and Itaboraí in the state of Rio de Janeiro will come online in 2024, or 10 months behind schedule.
"This creates a bit of unease. Unfortunately, there was a delay," Borges said, according to news reports.
