CABEI issues bonds in Aussie dollars

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) said it sold AUD60 million ($40.2 million) worth of seven-year bonds in Australian dollars in a private placement with a Taiwanese investor.  The bank priced new 2029 notes at a fixed rate of 5% and said it plans to use the proceeds "to continue financing programs and projects" in Central America, according to a press release on Wednesday.
