Telecom Argentina has requested up to $575 million in financing through IDB Invest, the private sector affiliate of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), to fund investments.
IDB Invest could supply an A loan for up to $50 million and arrange a B loan for as much as $450 million, according to documents on the multilateral lender's website. The financing could also include a $75 million co-loan for Telecom pay off debt. IDB Invest's board is expected to review the request by October 13.
