Brazil attracted 13.6% of China's overall foreign direct investment in 2021 to became the main recipient of such flows in the world, the Brazil-China Business Council (CEBC) said in a report on Wednesday.
Chinese FDI flows to Brazil reached $5.9 billion last year following a coronavirus-led slump in 2020, taking it back to the pre-COVID-19 level of $5.6 billion in 2019, according to the CEBC.
