Pátria seals another acquisition in Chile

Brazilian investment firm Pátria Investimentos has agreed to buy a majority stake in Chilean farming inputs supplier NS Agro, according to a securities filing. Sariri Investments 2017, a unit of Pátria, will pay $107 million for 82% of NS Agro with local private equity firm Inversiones Norte Sur selling a 53% stake and other shareholders selling the remainder, Norte Sur said in the filing. The transaction will leave Norte Sur with a 15% stake in NS Agro, it added.
