Two nations become the newest shareholders in the Latin American development bank

Chile and Honduras have become shareholders in Latin American development bank CAF following approval by existing members, according to a press release. Chile was one of the bank's founding members but left in 1977 and returned as an associate member in 1992. By becoming a full member, Chile will have access to financing and advisory services as will Honduras, CAF said in the press release.
