Spanish airport operator Aena took the biggest prize at an airport concessions auction in Brazil on Thursday, winning a 30-year contract to operate Congonhas in São Paulo and 10 smaller airports for BRL2.45 billion ($474 million). Aena offered a 231% premium over the asking price even though it was the only bidder for the lot, according to the infrastructure ministry.
