Mexican revenue service SAT has called on mass media company TV Azteca to pay MXN2.62 billion ($132 million) in back taxes following a federal court order, Raquel Buenrostro, head of the agency, said on Thursday.
"Everyone has to pay what they owe," Buenrostro said when a reporter asked if Ricardo Salinas, owner of TV Azteca, will have to cover taxes owed from 2013.
Grupo Salinas called the charges "erroneous and excessive" and said TV Azteca plans to appeal the ruling in local and international
