Televisa to pay cash for bond buyback

Mexican mass media company Televisa will use cash on hand to repurchase up to $300 million worth of bonds that mature between 2025 and 2049, a company source told LatinFinance on Thursday. Televisa said earlier in the day that it plans to buy back up to $200 million in 6.625% 2045 bonds and as much as $100 million in 5% 2025 notes.
