A group of creditors is sticking with its proposal to restructure Suriname's bond payments after rejecting a debt exchange offer earlier this week, saying it "has already demonstrated substantial flexibility," according to a press release on Wednesday.
Suriname's finance ministry said Monday that the bondholders refused the country's offer to restructure the bonds because it considered the proposed cuts to principal to be too large.
