IFC funds electric car loans through BV

The Internation Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector division of the World Bank, said it has granted $50 million in financing for Banco BV to offer loans for electric, hybrid and multi-fuel vehicles in Brazil. The financing is part of IFC's plans to increase financing for clean transportation "over the next few years," the US-based multilateral lender said in a press release.
