Stonepeak lines up bond, loan for Lumen acquisition

US investment firm Stonepeak is looking to issue $500 million in seven-year bonds and take out a loan for $800 million to fund the acquisition of the Latin American business of fiber optic network operator Lumen Technologies, a source familiar with the deal told LatinFinance on Wednesday. Stonepeak has hired JPMorgan, Citi, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Natixis, Deutsche Bank and Scotiabank to arrange the bond sale and expects to price new 2029 notes as early as July 27, the source said.
