Mexico prints more local ESG bonds

Mexico's finance ministry issued MXN15 billion ($730 million) in environmental, social and governance (ESG) bonds in a two-part bond sale in the local market on Wednesday, according to the central bank. The ministry placed MXN10.2 billion in three-year ESG bonds and MXN4.77 billion in six-year bonds, Banco de México said in a press release.
