South America development bank CAF said late Tuesday that it will provide $440 million in financing for two programs to improve water services and fight hunger in Argentina.
The funds will go toward a nationwide hunger relief program and expand water and wastewater services in Greater Buenos Aires, CAF said in a press release. The projects will benefit more than 3.8 million people in the country, out of a population of 45 million, it added.
