The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) expects to put up a guarantee for a bond sale by a sovereign issuer in the Caribbean by the end of this year or early next year, just as it did last month with the Bahamas, IDB President Mauricio Claver-Carone told LatinFinance.
"We are already talking with other institutional investors about other bonds," he said in an interview on Thursday without naming the country.
