Brazilian power company Light has named Octávio Pereira Lopes as CEO following the resignation of Raimundo Nonato de Castro last month. Lopes joins Light from furniture retailer Tok&Stok, where he has been CEO since September 2020, and starts his new job on August 15, the Rio de Janeiro-based power company said in a securities filing. Wilson Poit, who stood in as interim CEO, will return to his position as chairman of the board of directors, Light said in the filing. Lopes served on Light's
