Mexican financial technology firm Kapital has raised $30 million in a debt and equity seed funding round to set up shop in Colombia, according to press reports.
US early-stage venture capital firm Tenacity Venture Capital led the round last week, local business newspaper El Economista reported.
Kapital is backed by Y Combinator, a start-up accelerator in the United States. Investors in the seed funding round included US investment firms TeleSoft Partners, Broom Ventures, Pioneer Fund, Soma Capit
