Dubai-based ridesharing services company Swvl plans to expand in Latin America through a "mix of organic launches and acquisitions" after agreeing to buy Mexico's Urbvan Mobility for $81.6 million, CFO Youssef Salem told LatinFinance on Monday. Swvl expects to go to Peru and Colombia, Salem said, following the move into Argentina and Chile the acquisition of Viapool for $10 million in 2021.
