IDB Invest, the private sector affiliate of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), has made $1.75 billion to $2.25 billion in financing available for companies that relocate to the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, the finance ministry said in a press release on Sunday. The ministry and the IDB "will collaborate to design the financial mechanism that allows to boost the value of the assets in the Interoceanic Corridor and accelerate investments," according to the press release.
