China's Ganfeng Lithium Co, one of the world’s biggest lithium producers, said Monday it has reached an agreement to buy 100% of Lithea for $962 million, gaining it more lithium resources for development in Argentina.
The Xinyu, China-based company will buy Lithea, a unit of Canada's LSC Lithium, from the parent company, Buenos Aires-based Pluspetrol, according to a securities filing with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
