Alliar's new owners appoint new CEO

Pedro Thompson was elected CEO of Brazilian healthcare company Alliar, the company said in a securities filing on Friday. The appointment of a new CEO comes after a change of ownership in April, when Brazilian investor Nelson Tanure managed to take over the company after a long corporate battle.    Thompson has worked in the private equity division of local investment bank BTG Pactual and for accounting firm Deloitte, according to Alliar.
