Mercantil Banco Panamá could issue bonds in Mexico and the United States next year as it extends its fundraising plans to new markets, Luis Huitron, the bank's head of funding and investor relations, told LatinFinance. "If the size is adequate, we think perhaps a deal in the Mexican market with a swap from dollars to pesos," Huitron said.
