Mexican development bank Banobras has awarded a public-private partnership (PPP) for three toll roads to Portuguese construction company Mota-Engil, according to local press reports.
Mota-Engil México won the MXN12.4 billion ($609 million) contract to rebuild and operate the roads near Puerto Vallarta, beating four competing offers from ICA, IDEAL, GAMI Ingeniería and La Peninsular, business newspaper El Economista reported.
The PPP contract, which is scheduled to be signed on July 8, covers 55.
