The BMV exchange in Mexico City expects corporate issuers to issue up to MXN70 billion ($3.42 billion) in debt in the local market in June, July and August this year, BMV CEO José Oriol said at a press conference on Monday.
Of this amount, about MXN50 billion will be issued in June and July with MXN20 billion coming in August, Oriol said.
Oriol also said that the BMV expects environmental, social and governance (ESG) bonds, or "thematic" bonds, to account for half of all long-term issues in 2023
