Copec prints UF bonds in local market

Empresas Copec, a Chilean conglomerate with interests in energy, fishing, forestry and mining, said late Wednesday that it raised UF5.5 million ($206 million) in the sale of two series of inflation-linked bonds in the local market to refinance debts. The Santiago-based company sold UF1.5 million in 10-year notes at an interest rate of 3.2% interest and UF4 million in 21-year bonds at 3.5%, Copec said in a securities filing.
