Brazilian renewable energy company 2W Energia said it borrowed BRL147 million ($29.1 million) from regional development bank Banco do Nordeste do Brasil (BNB) to develop a wind farm in the northeastern state of Ceará. The 24-year loan comes with a two-year grace period and charges the IPCA consumer price index plus 3.7423%, 2W said in a securities filing on Wednesday. 2W added that it will use the funding for the first phase of Kairós wind power project near the city of Icapuí.
