Italian energy company Terna said it has reached an agreement to sell its power transmission assets in Brazil, Peru and Uruguay for more than €265 million ($278 million) to Canadian pension fund Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), a move to pull out of riskier markets. The deal includes around 1,200km of power lines in the three countries, Terna said in a statement.
