Poland's KGHM Polska Miedź, one of the biggest copper and silver producers in the world, said it agreed to sell the Franke copper mine in Chile to Grupo Minero Las Cenizas for $25 million. KGHM announced the sale in its latest financial results report, five months after announcing plans to find a buyer for the mine in the Atacama Desert in northern Chile.
